I have just been to the most boring dinner party! My friend normally has really interested ones but she invited a guy who works with printed PCB’s like my husband does. They spent the whole evening talking about a new led PCB which has come on to the market and it was so dull. They spoke about it so loudly and enthusiastically that no one else could chat. They did try to include everyone else in the conversation, explain why it was so good and how it would help us but it was impossible to get enthusiastic about it at all. I suppose it is either a man thing or you have to work with them thing. Whatever it was, they seemed extremely happy about it all and we had no idea why! I think we should have a ladies evening next time and spend the whole time talking about girl’s things and see how they like it!! I am sure they would find a way of changing the subject to something very dull though – some men just seem to be able to do that! Perhaps it is time we had a girl’s only night again – now I really enjoyed that. Maybe I will organize one at my place, I am sure my husband could be persuaded to go to the pub for a while!
